Reviews and Ratings
My recent stay at Ocean Lodge was quite frustrating despite its potential. While I liked the spacious suites and their comfort, my experience was overshadowed by issues with the management and restaurant operations. The location is nice, being just a short walk from the beach, but the service during our dining experience was lacking, resulting in a disappointing evening. It's hard to justify the price given the setbacks we faced.
I was really looking forward to my stay at Ocean Lodge, especially after so many years of positive experiences. Unfortunately, things didn't live up to expectations this time. The room we were assigned was noisy due to the restaurant above and not the luxurious penthouse we anticipated. Service was also lacking, as our room wasn’t cleaned during our stay. However, the charm of the lodge and the delicious breakfasts were highlights.
The Ocean Lodge offers beautifully decorated suites with spacious balconies that enhance the relaxing atmosphere. However, while the continental breakfast is decent, the limited dining options and the restaurant being closed on certain nights can be disappointing. The lodge is conveniently located just across the street from the beach, making it easy to access coastal activities, but some may find the views obstructed by nearby buildings.
The hotel had some great features like spacious suites and a charming rooftop space, but the dining experience was quite disappointing with limited breakfast options. I also faced some frustrations with service issues, particularly with the new management changes that disrupted the atmosphere I had enjoyed in the past. On the upside, the cleanliness and room amenities added to my comfort during the stay.
I had a mostly enjoyable stay at the Ocean Lodge. The rooms were fantastic, offering plenty of space and great decor, and the staff were quite accommodating. However, I found the dining options a bit lacking, especially the limited breakfast selection. The pool's temporary closure was disappointing but overall, it was a relaxing getaway with some beautiful views.
